ARIES Admin V2 - Tow Companies

Overview

We are excited to launch an updated version of ARIES Admin! This page outlines the major changes coming to the product and provides a side by side comparison of the changes. Feedback on the changes is much appreciated and can be sent to our helpdesk by emailing partnersupport@autura.com.

What is ARIES Admin?

ARIES Admin is where ARIES entities are managed. So if you need to set up a new user, reset a password, or provision a new tow truck operator, ARIES Admin is where you do it.

Highlights

  • Icon Changes

 

 

 

 

Edit buttons have been replaced with an edit icon. Pressing this button will open the editing view of whichever section was selected. If a user does not have the permission to edit the section, the icon will appear disabled.

 

Add and remove icons have replaced buttons. Minus icons will remove a selection (in the example to the right, a mobile device # from a specific driver) and plus icons will add a new item.

 

  • Switching between companies

 

 

 

 

To manage a different company, a user must select the ‘Manage other company’ option from the dropdown menu.

 

Once on the ‘Select company’ page, a user can search for the desired company or select it from the list. By pressing the ‘Manage’ button they will be taken to that companies profile page and can navigate from there to the desired tab within Admin.

 

  • Trucks

    • Companies can document and manage their fleet of trucks within Admin. When regional configuration requires it, drivers must select their truck when beginning a new shift. The trucks available for that driver are populated based on which trucks have been configured for the company within Admin.

  • Manage Drivers and Devices together

    • In the new interface, drivers and devices can be managed from either tab, replacing the old workflow of creating a driver on one screen and then creating a device on a separate screen and associating the two from the Devices tab.

  • Lots

    • Lots, lot sections, and stalls can now be created and edited within Admin.
